Big Team - Brian O'Connor.  Brian O'Connor was the only American on Leroy Wright's recon team to survive the battle.  He was the radio operator for the team, commonly referred to as the "One-Two".   His code name was "Big Team".  His courageous actions during the battle were instrumental in the survival of the team and he continued to fight despite several serious wounds until extracted by Roger Waggie.  His eyewitness statement let finally to the award of the Medal of Honor to Roy Benavidez.  O'Connor attended the ceremony in 1981 when Roy Benavidez received the MOH from President Ronald Reagan
