VOLUNTEER SUPPORT

Volunteers Needed
Valor Remembered's directors and officers serve without compensation.  There are no employees or paid fundraising solicitors so all work for the development of the foundation and its memorial projects must be provided by volunteers.

Nationwide Operations
We are a new organization, just incorporated in May 2002.  Valor Remembered's tax exempt status was approved by the IRS in November 2002 so we are now positioned to begin fundraising for the memorial projects which include the creation of memorial sculptures and other art works.  A nationwide network of volunteers and committee members is being recruited to assist with the essential job of funding the projects as well as the overall development of the organization.

We are building a permanent organization to act as an advocate and prime developer for memorial projects honoring Americans of valor nationwide.  Our present priority is to assure the success of our first two memorial projects the Stephen W. Pless Memorial and the Roy P. Benavidez Memorial but we plan to sponsor many other memorials in the future.
